Three-Color Salad


If you're looking for a simple yet refreshing salad, you will certainly enjoy this recipe from
Frame> by>Frame Italian(2010)-pgs.34-35 from the LOVE FOOD series.Three-Color salad is easy to make, beautiful when plated and a nice break from your normal salad.

Serves 4


10 oz mozerella cheese, drained
 8 plum tomatoes
20 basil leaves
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper

1) Cut the mozerella into thin slices.
2) Cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
3) Arrange the cheese and tomato slices on 4 individual serving plates and season to taste with salt. Set aside in a cool place for 30 minutes.

4) Sprinkle the basil leaves over the salad, then drizzle with the oil and season with pepper to taste.
5) Serve immediately.
